FIVE REASONS WHY I CAN’T WAIT TO WATCH NEW YEAR’S EVE

1. Robert de Niro, no need to explain this one.

2. Zac Efron. After being in God-knows-where for the past couple of months (or has it been a year?) he is definitely back, and he’s back with a bang, as in he’s paired up with Michelle Pfeiffer for the film. Whew, Catwoman much? (Speaking of Catwoman, Halle Berry is also in this film… Halle Berry who starred in the 2004 adaptation of Catwoman, which I think flopped bigtime.)

3. Lea Michele starting to branch out of her Rachel Berry persona. I am so happy for Lea Michele being in this movie, but why was she paired up with Ashton Kutcher? Damn.

4. SOFIA VERGARA! I had to type it in caps lock because it is SOFIA VERGARA. Expecting that she’ll bring just enough Columbian flavor to the movie, just as she always does.

5. It is filmed in the greatest city in the whole world (arguable, but I do believe that this it true) New York City! Just don’t focus too much on Times Square because real New Yorkers do not celebrate New Year’s Eve in Times Square… Or so I’ve heard. (How I Met Your Mother, anyone?)
